Nifty nears 10,800; Sensex, Bank index jump over 300 pts

Jubilant Life Sciences shares rallied nearly 8 percent after stellar earnings performance.

Consolidated net profit during October-December quarter grew sharply by 78 percent to Rs 212.5 crore compared to Rs 119.4 crore in year-ago.

Revenue from operations surged 41.8 percent year-on-year to Rs 2,067.8 crore while operating profit jumped 25.6 percent to Rs 416.8 crore, but margin contracted 260 basis points to 20.2 percent in Q3.
